Welcome to the 5th Annual Fairways Fore Hope 2013!
The Fairways Fore Hope Golf Tournament has been scheduled for Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Redtail Landing Golf Club. 12:00 PM Player Registration. 1:00 PM Shotgun Start. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All proceeds from the tournaments go directly towards the Edmonton Inner City Children’s Program (ICCP). Since 1995, the ICCP has been providing quality recreational and educational programming to children and youth in the McCauley/Boyle Street community. Recognizing the need for supervised, skill-building programming in the inner-city community, the ICCP have partnered with local schools and other organizations to provide a variety of programs and services.
Despite the torrential flooding and rescheduling of the 4rd Annual Fairways Fore Hope Charity Golf Tournament, it was still a great success! We would like to once again thank all of the guests, sponsors and our exceptional staff for making the event wonderful! The $25,000 raised allowed us to support our new site at St. Gerard and maintain programs at both Mother Theresa and Norwood. ICCP thanks everyone involved in the Fairways Fore Hope tournaments for their hard work and dedication, without volunteers and staff it wouldn’t be such a success! Please join us in not only supporting a great cause, but to have a great time doing it!
Greetings from our Honorary Co-Chairs – Jason and Schoena Strudwick!
Established in 1995, the Inner City Children’s Program (ICCP) has remained committed to providing Edmonton’s inner city children with the opportunity to participate in programs specifically created for their benefit. Through partnerships with local schools and organizations, the ICCP is able to provide these asset-building and skill-enhancing initiatives for the children living in the downtown core.
A major contributor to the ICCP’s success is the Fairways Fore Hope annual golf tournament. Since its inauguration in 2009, the number of children served by the after-school care programs has increased by 60% with over 150 children currently participating and many on the waiting list.
Due to torrential rain and flooding our 2012 tournament was cancelled and forced to be rescheduled, we would like to thank the continuous generosity and support of our sponsors that made our 2012 tournament a success despite the unfortunate circumstances. The $25,000 was raised from last year’s event helped support our new site at St. Gerard Elementary School. The ICCP was also able to maintain programming at Norwood & Mother Theresa elementary schools, this included spring camp, Keyboard for Kids, and a choir program. With your help, we are confident that we can exceed last year’s $25,000.
We are honoured and so excited to be back as the honorary co-chairs of the Fairways Fore Hope 2013 Golf Tournament. Supporting inner city children with programs that would otherwise not be available, is extremely important to us. These programs enhance and enrich the lives of these children providing them with opportunities they would otherwise not be available. ICCP programs help increase children’s self-worth which in turn fosters positive relationships and a chance to acquire skills for future success. We are asking you to please join us in the support of these children through the ICCP tournament.
